I am in 100% support of this move. It has been long overdue as the distraction that it causes in salaah is inexcusable.
There is no cherishing the sacred word of ALLAH.
I think the next move, should be like the “old days” is to ban cell phones from ALL holy and religious sites all together.
May ALLAH grant the authorities, the wisdom and the resources in carrying this ruling out. Insha-Allah

I AGREE MOBILE PHONES NOW CONTAIN IMAGES MUSIC ETC AND QURANIC VERSES SAVED IN THE SAME LOCATION IS LIKE HAVING A QURAN SURROUNDED BY IMAGES AND MUSIC. DEFINATELY A CORRECT MOVE…..
Assalamu Alaikum,
Dear Ulema’s, brothers & sisters.
The decision to ban Quranic Verses for ringtones, arises me a question. Are the respected Ulemas allowing to use just music ringtones for the phone which is Haraam. Or are they blocking people who uses Quranic verses and answer the phone when that particular Aayath finishes. I think, the aforesaid is better than before that. But I kindly requesting the Ulemas to explain. I will never go beyond their decisions as they are close to Allah subhanahuthala, and they have learned the Quran & Hadith for years, and also they are practically with Islam than me who is not. I kindly requesting the respected Ulemas of council to explain to this notworthy, uneducated servant of Allah
I humbly request the forgiveness of Ulemas If I am wrong.
Jazakallahukhair.

I STRONGLY SUPPORT THIS MOVE…….BECAUSE IT’SVERY UNFORTUNATE THAT PEOPLE USING CELLPHONES NOT ONLY FOR THEIR UNDERSTANDABLE PURPOSE BUT ALSO FOR VARYING MISUSABLE NEEDS , KEEPING HOLY QUR’ANIC RINGTONES IN MOBILES AND THE BEEPING OF IT’S MUSIC IN ARROGANT CONDITIONS, WHICH ARE NOT PURE OR CLEANED, EX:BATHROOM. USING RINGTONES OF HOLY QUR’AN VERSES MAY DISINTEGRATE AND DISTRESS THE HONOUR THAT IS GIVEN BY ISLAM TO OUR HOLY BOOK.AND IT WILL BE A TOTAL DISATER FOR THE FAITH OF THE MANKIND.
Salaam,
Dear brother Mashook , i strongly refuse these words which i found in ur reply…
“I will never go beyond their decisions as they are close to Allah subhanahuthala ”
Who said that ulemas are very close to Allah and u are far away from Allah. Is our prophet(sal) said that only ulemas very close to Allah and others are not?
Dear Mashook this is completely Stupid.Allah is Merciful to all and he will never seperate ulemas n us.. Have u not heard this hadith i.e
Prophet(sal) said “whoever want to very close to Allah , follow what i said i.e follow Quran & Hadith.
I hope u will be clear Dear brother.
